HELP!!

Skrg ni tgh dgr lagu Revolusi by Bunkface. Rasa nak hangguk2 kepala tp takut plak ada yg terperasan aku terhangguk2 cam apa jer kan...Kata aku tak betul ke apa plak kan..Heheheh..

Teringat masa kat ofis kat Serdang dulu. Aku biasa la kan, bila dah dgr lagu kot headphone ni, aku pasang kuat2 lagu. Baru ada feel. Lagipun sebagai satu cara utk aku tak hiraukan org lain, dok dlm dunia aku sendiri. Dan kkdg dlm time2 aku dgr lagu ni, mulut pun kkdg terikut la sekali nyanyi. Then one day, which is ada la dlm bbrp minggu lagi nak start AF (masa tu tgh hangat audition AF), aku dgr la lagu sambil dok nyanyi2. Tp masa tu mmg aku pikir aku hanya gerakkan bibir jer, ikut lagu tu. Mn la tahu rupanya, aku mmg nyanyi sekali..Maklumlah telinga tak dgr. Kiranya lama la gak...then kawan aku ni dtg kat aku sbb dia nak pass doc apa ntah. Then dia tanya la, "wah...nyanyi nmpk, prepare utk audition AF ker?" Terkejut gak ler kan, terus skype member sebelah, tanya dia, kuat sgt ker org nyanyi. Dia ckp la, takderlah kuat, tp dgr lah satu bilik tu org nyanyi...ADuhhhhhhh malu sihhh...dahler bukannya tahu pun lirik, main humming jer pun. Mn yg tahu lirik, ikut sekali la...

So start dari ari tu, nyanyi dlm hati jelah....Hahahahaha

Kenapa aku minta tlg?? takder kaitan pasal aku nyanyi2 tu pun. Hehehe..Sbnrnya aku kebosanan. Bukan bosan sbb takde keje, tp keje berlambak2. Masalah skrg...camner yek nak dptkan semangat nak buat keje ni. Penyakit mls tu lebih dari segalanya..Aduhai...Aku dah sampai abis dah surf semua site yg biasa aku pi. Tp nak start keje tu cam alahai....Ishhh teruk tul kan...

Tak blh gini, kena gak gerakkan badan, start doing things...Go!! Go!! Go!!

How to be More Effective in Work??

What I hate most bila kena isi 360 adalah part ni. Sbb dia dlm bentuk subjektif not objective yg kita blh pilih2 jawapan yg ada. Its ok to evaluate your self but bila part nak evaluate org lain?? Duuhhhh...apa yg kita rs org tu perlu utk bg dia more effective bila keje?? Aku rs paling penting satu jer.... GOOD SALARY....hehehe.. ada yg object tak?

So bila part isi mengisi benda2 alah2 ni, it's time we need Uncle Google to help us. So inilah antara jawapan2 yg Uncle Google bagi.

How to be More Effective at Work (by Bing Wilson)

1. Be on time. Being on time is a matter of commitment. Blaming the traffic for being late can get old after a while. If you live in an area where traffic can be a problem, give yourself time allowance to get to work. Getting to work early is better than getting there late. It gives you time to relax and breath easier before starting your day. Being late can make a person nervous. Scrambling to get started with your day is not a good way to go.

2. Work on all hours that you are paid for. To become productive at work, one has to consciously use his or her time and energy effectively to produce what is expected. Using working hours for socializing and checking out personal emails and navigating the Internet for personal entertainment will not add to the value of the employee. Keep your focus on matters that truly needs your attention.

3. Stay away from gossips. There is nothing worst than going to the same work environment while people talk about you behind your back. Refrain from negative conversations that can lead you nowhere. Put yourself in the position of the person being talked about. How would you feel? Besides gossiping creates negative energy, it is a total waste of time. Negative energy can drain you of strength.

4. Volunteer to do more than what you are paid for. If you want your boss to start noticing you, you need to step up to the plate. Start doing more than what is written in your job description. Do the extra work happily, professionally and excellently. Document what you have done well. When evaluation time comes, this can help you to see how much leverage you may have for future promotion.

Dan yg lain plak

1) Work on your high payoff activities

High payoff activities are revenue-generating. These comprise marketing, delivery and business development. Determine which activities are revenue-generating and make sure that you allocate time every day for this. Wherever you can, delegate out the rest, especially those tasks that are not your forte.

Ask yourself, "Why am I doing this?" This allows you to determine firstly, whether the task should be done at all, and secondly, whether you are the right person to be doing it.

(2) Chunk your day into set time chunks

Do the same thing at the same time each day and then stick to that routine. For example, do your marketing activities at the same hours each day. Check emails at the same times each day and so on. Allocate the times for the various activities according to your own energy rhythm.

Again, it comes back to knowing yourself. If you're going to shuffle things along to a time that never happens, don't.

This is a powerful technique which I would never have guessed would be as effective as it is. It's allowed me to work half-days with peace of mind, knowing that if I cover the items that have been chunked into the day, I'd have completed the important things I need to do. With this, I no longer get to the end of the day feeling as if I've spent the whole day at the desk and yet not achieved much.

(3) Outsource and delegate

This was one I resisted for a very long time because I felt that I "should" be doing it all myself - especially in the early days of my business. I insisted on doing the book-keeping myself, for example, because I'm a qualified chartered accountant and I knew how to. But I dreaded the day each month that 'd allocated to book-keeping. As soon as I outsourced this, I felt such a sense of freedom. And more importantly, it freed up time for me to spend on other more lucrative activities, like preparing for talks at associations and conferences, or writing articles for publications.

The same thing happened with maintenance of my website. I quite enjoyed creating my website but maintaining it was a different matter.

Plus, these tasks are administrative in nature and definitely not revenue-generating.

So which tasks to you know that you don't enjoy doing but you keep on doing it because you think you should? Outsource and delegate those as a matter of priority.

If you're thinking that you can't afford it, do think again. I wouldn't advise that you go into debt in order to outsource, but outsource even when you think you aren't at the income level you think you should be at before you do so. It will free up your time and energy and open up avenues for more income.

(4) Take inspired action when the inspiration hits

Sometimes inspiration hits us in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't work by the clock. So when you get the inspired idea, you're going to have to be the judge and take the most appropriate inspired action.

If it's an article topic, write it down in an "Ideas Journal". If you get a string of points for a talk you're giving, write them down. Then carry on with whatever you're focused on. If it's an inspiration to phone someone, tune in - is it just the idea to phone that person or is it the intuitive hit to actually make that phone call straight away. Learn to listen to your intuition and ideas, and learn to discern whether the inspired action is to just write down the ideas and carry on, or briefly stop what you're doing to act on the idea immediately.

Once again, it comes back to knowing yourself. Be honest! If you're one of those people for whom inspiration hits but you talk yourself out of it over time, then, you must take that inspired action immediately, before you talk yourself out of it.

(5) Only check your emails at set times

Resist the temptation to check your emails every time one comes in. Email is addictive. Set specific times in the day to check your emails and only check your emails then.

When you get to your emails, deal with the ones that need attention immediately. Batch up any others to read into a "To Read" folder and read them when you get to your reading time. Then clear it out.

My goal every day is to get my Inbox down to less than a page long...and I'm working on getting it totally clear each day.

(6) Create a "To DAD" List

Don't carry everything around in your head. It takes up energy needlessly. Get everything down onto a list and you'll find that you'll clear your head. The "To DAD" list is your "To Do And Delegate List".

In the left hand column, write down the to-dos for yourself but only write down those items that you absolutely MUST do today. (Clue: High payoff activities and those for which you have an imminent deadline). You should have only a few items in this list, no more than 5.

Everything else goes in the right hand column - "To Delegate". Allocate whom to delegate each task to - your virtual assistant, your webmaster, your book-keeper, and whomever else you outsource to, and also your Divine Self (or Higher Intelligence or Universe or Source, whatever you call it). Typically, the items that I delegate to my Divine Self are things that I know are coming up for me that I want worked on "in the background". Examples are: Get ideas for my next newsletter topic, line up 60 people for my preview teleseminar, get 5 clients ready to sign up when we launch the website product.

Doing this allows you to free up your mind and releases energy that you can channel into the activity you are focusing on.

(7) Stop multi-tasking

If you think about it, there really isn't any such thing as multi-tasking. We can only ever focus on a single activity at any one time. You may be able to handle a number of things in quick succession relative to someone else, but at any point, you can only do one thing.

If, for example, you're listening to a class recording and writing emails at the same time, you're actually zoning in and out between one and the other. You miss bits and pieces in between, and ultimately it takes you longer to get things done. If your class recording isn't important enough for you to be fully present with it, then don't bother listening to it.
Malas nak mengedit apa yg tak perlu...but it's good to practice this. But tak guna pun utk evaluate org lain but berguna untuk diri sendiri,.... Good Luck!!

Agak2 blh ke jadi gini?? Hahaha..ish ish...kena ada aim kan??

Parents 2

Beberapa minggu lepas aku pi Perak. Menghadiri majlis pengkebumian arwah pakcik (husband to my mother's sister actually) yang meninggal sebab kanser paru2. Dah lama sebenarnya kitaorg tak bertemu sesama sendiri antara anak beranak arwah mak ni especially sepupu2 kitaorg ni. Maklumlah adik beradik mak ramai, laktu masing2 bukan tinggal satu negeri, tp berlainan negeri. So bukannya senang untuk berjumpa. Tambahan plak, adik beradik mak, sorang demi sorang yg meninggal. Semakin menjarakkan hubungan kami sepupu sepapat yg masa kecik2 dulu kira agak close la kan.

So menghadiri majlis ni, seakan2 satu reunion utk kitaorg satu famili besar ni. Imagine la jumpa balik our cousin yg rsnya last jumpa masa kitoarg sekolah2 dulu lagi. Mmg lama sgt tak jumpa derang2 ni. Cam biasa la kan, bila dah jumpa, its a time for us utk contact balik, bertukar cerita, bertukar telefon. Dan masa ni mcm2 cerita la yg kitaorg dpt tahu.

Entahler, bila aku tahu apsal cerita pakcik (not yg meninggal tu, but my late mother's brother), tetiba aku sebak jer. Nak2 bila baca artikel pasal anak derhaka tu, lagi la buat aku tambah2 teringat kat my father. Tu yg smlm tetiba call dia, tanya khabar berita dia. Rindu sihhh...hehe

Citer pasal parents ni, cam terkilan dan sedih gak ler dengan apa yg terjadi to my uncle kan. Imagine la kan, kita membesar dgn dia, walaupun tak dok ngan dia, tp setiap kali school holiday, rumah dia lah jadi mangsa kitaorg. Kitaorg akan dok umah dia, imagine la dari kecik sampai la aku lepas SPM. Kalau nak dtg KL (kalau org kg, Selangor pun panggil KL gak), umah dia lah kitaorg terjah padahal ada lagi makcik yg dok KL ni. Tp mungkin pakcik makcik aku ni jenis yg selamba rock, tak kisah umah dia jadi tmpt anak2 sedara lepak, so kitoarg cam selesa kat situ. Rumah dia bukan besar mn pun, tp ada la tmpt kitaorg nak tidur kan. Tp tula, masa aku belajar english course, bosan dok umah sewa, aku pi la umah dia. Walaupun dok umah dia, bukannya berckp pun ngan derang (aku kan pemalu orgnya). Tp tu la, pakcik makcik aku ni bukan jenis berkira, nak lepak umah dia, meh jelah...

Sbb dari kecik tgk dia, mmg kitaorg tahu la kan, camner dia layan anak2 dia. Mmg anak2 dia dilayan dgn kemewahan, apa yg anak dia nak, semua dpt. Dari kecik sampai la ke besar. Tp igtkn bila dah besar, anak2 la plak kan tanggung mak ayah kan. Mana tahu, anak2 dah beranak pinak, keje semua best2, tp ayah nak minta tlg isikan minyak kete pun berkira giler. Sedih beb dgr citer pasal pakcik sorang ni. Yelah dulu dia keje best2, gaji besar, cuti sekolah pun kkdg pi oversea..anak2 dia masa bljr kat oversea pun, nak pi travel mn2, minta duit jer, dia bg. Tp bila dia dah tua ni, tak mampu ada pendapatan sendiri, blh plak anak2 berkira giler ngan bapak sendiri. Masa arwah pakcik kat Perak tenat masuk hospital, pakcik nak pi melawat, tp duit takder nak byr tol, nak beli minyak kete. Harap kat anak2, tp aduhai berkira giler. Mujur la kitoarg ni, sepupu sepapat lain yg masih igt kat pakcik yg kalau dulu, tak berkira ngan kitaorg ni, tolong apa yg patut. Siap kumpulkan duit utk bg kat pakcik. Abg aku plak tlg angkut dia sekali pi Perak. Masa abg ipar aku belanja dia mkn kat cafe hospital, dia siap ucap terima kasih tu cam how precious mknn yg dia dpt tu. Aduhai sedihnyaaa...cam tak sangka la kan, pakcik yg berduit dulu, tp bila tua tak berduit ni, anak2 tak igt langsung pengorbanan ayah derang yg suatu ketika dulu korban mcm2 kat derang.

Sejahat mn ayah kita pun, seteruk mn ayah kita pun, dia tetap ayah kita kan. Dan bila dgr citer gini, kitaorg adik beradik cam bersyukurla kan. Kitaorg tak mcm gitu. x mcm dlm citer2 kat tv tu, tak mcm yg kita dok baca kat paper2. Kitaorg membesar dgn kesusahan, dgn keperitan, dgn kekurangan, tp bila kitaorg besar, kitaorg berjaya kecapi semua benda yg suatu ketika dulu kitoarg tak dpt kecapi.

Sayang ABAH..

Lazy vs Hardworking

Aku ngantuk sangat ari ni. Ntah ler pesal. Nak kata tak cukup tidur, rsnya takdelah aku tidur lmbt sgt. Dahler ngantuk, aku pi layan plak bekfes ngan nasi lemak...bagus bagus...

Bila start new day dgn tidak bersemangat, mulalah aku jadi malas nak wat apa2. Tp mn leh buat gini kan. Kena la semangat, keje dah ler byk. Byk benda aku nak kena layan ari ni. Laktu boss aku pun dah remind pasal benda2 yang perlu dibuat sebelum sampai akhir bulan ni. Baik BOSS!!!

So ari ni nak tak nak aku kena layan gak keje2 tu. Jgn jadi malas nanti kan byk plak keje tertunda. Nanti bila dah sampai waktu kena submit, barulah terkepoh2 nak siapkan keje. Barulah padan ngan muka. So jom buat keje jom...Tp sblm buat keje, kita nguap dulu, bagi ilang ngantuk2 tu semua...hehe

My New Skin

Tetiba terajin plak ni. Main cuba2 jer ni letak2 benda alah ni. Entah ok ke idak, tak th la. Nmpk ok skit daripada yg sblm ni...Ni ada la sthn kot lepas tu baru tukar skin. Kalau terajin nak mengedit, mungkin dlm masa berapa bulan tukar skin lain. Tp bila byk sgt pilihan, aduhai, sampai tak tahu nak pilih mn satu. Main rembat, dan edit jer ni...Tp aku suka la sikit, nampak cam kemas...

Aku ambik link yg jue bagi tu. Byk gak pilihan. Pi kat sini.. Thanks Jue

No internet, no life?

Kat umah baru pindah ni lom ada internet connection. Camner nak ada kalau line tepon pun xder. Org kata suh POTONG...tp tak mo lah aku. Mlslah nak potong2 ni.

Ni dah seminggu dah aku buat permohonan tukar line. Tp byg pun lom ada ni. Mungkin dlm minggu ni kena tepon gak derang ni tanya apa citer. Susah aa takder internet. Siang ok lagi la kan sbb blh layan kat ofis. Tp mlm, hujung minggu, bosan aaa takder internet. No FB, no online movie. Nak guna 3G, aduhai, kalau di hujung minggu ni, lembab cam kura2 sikit aaa...

So aku nyer plan nak tukar skin (dah donwload dah lama dah skin baru) tergendala la. Malas aku nak buat keje2 tukar skin ni kat ofis. Sbb keje dia leceh, so nanti keje aku kat ofis tak terlayan plak kan. So terpaksa la kekal gitu dulu skin yg ada ni.

Ari ni ada study lagi pasal BlackFin. Boss ckp kul 10.30. So ada masa 15 min lagi utk aku siapkan apa2 yg lagha...hehehe

Parents

Ari tu baca berita online pasal kes Anak Derhaka..ala..yg lecturer tu, mak ayah dia tukar tanah letak nama dia, then bila dah dibuh nama dia, terus dia hambat kuar mak ayah dia sendiri..ish ish ish....x patut tul la kan

Citer2 camni buat aku teringat kat ayah dan arwah mak. Seburuk mn pun mak ayah kita, sejahat mana pun mak ayah kita, baik buruk mereka, camner pun, dia tetap mak ayah kita. Tanpa derang, kita takkan wujud. Kalau kita imbas balik, agak2nya kalau mak ayah kita buat derk jer kat kita dari kecik, lempar tepi jer, tak jaga kita pun, agak2 kita ni seelok sekarang tak?

Apa yg berlaku kat kita skrg ni, berjayanya kita, sedikit sebyk, semua atas jasa mak ayah kita.

Kalau la mak ayah minah tu buat derk jer dia dari dulu, tak bg mkn minum, tk bagi apa2 kat dia, leh tak dia jadi lecturer cam skrg.

Cam aku dulu, mmg mak ayah org susah. Ayah aku pi keje pun ngan basikal buruk dia. Basikal tu sampai skrg masih wujud lagi. Imagine la dari zaman kitoarg kecik sampai la aku masuk U, ayah aku pi keje, balik keje, ngan basikal buruk dia tu la. Sampaila abg ipar aku bila dia senang sikit, bg motor dia kat ayah aku. Ayah aku sanggup gaji dia habiskan utk sekolahkan kitaorg. Sbb bg ayah aku, dia takder harta lain selain berikan kitaorg pelajaran. Dan syukur, kitaorg adik beradik berjaya. Dan ayah aku sedikit sbyk dapat rs kemewahan bila kitoarg masing2 dah bekerja, masing2 serba sikit blh la layan apa yg dia nak. Cuma arwah mak aku tak sempat rs seperti mn yg ayah aku sempat rasa. Yelah masa arwah pergi dulu, berapa kerat jer yg kerja, dan masa tu ramai yg tgh belajar, dan kitaorg yg kerja ni la yg support semua adik2 yg belajar. Dan masing2 plak masa tu, gaji ciput jer, maklumlah masing2 br sthn dua keje. So mmg beruntungla kan ayah aku ni.

Kitaorg ni walaupun ada problem communication ngan ayah, terasa hati ke apa ngan ayah, tp still dia adalah ayah kitoarg. Tak sanggup kitaorg nak wat pedajal cam dlm citer2, cam org2 sekeliling kitoarg, cam cerita2 yg kita dgr kot tv, paper semua tu. Sbbnya, aku ada sorang jer ayah dlm hidup aku. Xder dah dua, tiga ke empat ker...aku ada satu jer...Seorg ayah yg berjasa buat aku berjaya seperti mana aku sekarang ni....

THANKS ABAH!!
