Zaman sekolah menengah hinggalah matrik, aku suka sgt pi library awam. So one day, not so sure who start first whether me or my sister, kitaorg pinjam satu komik ni,: The Adventures of Asterix.
Asalnya pinjam satu komik, terus melarat sampai semua komik ni dipinjam oleh kitoarg. Sbbnya, satu komik jer, kitaorg almost satu famili la suka baca komik ni. Kelakar giler.
Citer ni terbawa2 sampai skrg where I used word "Asterix" and "Obelix" for the name of certain things. Its not easy to find this comic (mungkin tak glamer kat mesia) but one day I found it at MPH Alamanda. Tp masa tu tak terpikir nak beli. Last Saturday, pi MPH konon nak carik buku tu at least satu comic pun ok tp tak jumpa plak. Sedih rs... tgk la nanti kot2 ada harapan jumpa kat kinokinuya ke, kat MPH mid valley ke plak kan...
Tp comic ni byk gak jasanya sbb byk gak menambahkan vocab masa sekolah2 dulu.

we all pun suka sangat2 asterix ni. Even Miss 5 is reading it now :-), walaupun she's still reading it quite slowly but she's really enjoying it. My hubby ada banyak asterix yang dia collects since dia kecik lagi. kalau nak baca, jom lah datang Perth, hehehe
best kan comic tu...sampai skrg still igt yg part derang pi kat pyramid dan camner muka sphinx tu hidung dia leh xder...obelix nyer pasal...hahahaha
Akak belikan tiket bg plug pi sana, then masakkan utk plug..plug layan komik tu jer...hahahahah
